Sleep – A Very Important Element to a Healthy Lifestyle

Casper Stylsvig, Chief Revenue Officer at Chelsea FC, former Cheif Revenue Officer at AC Milan, is constantly looking for new ways to improve himself as a leader. This led him to contact Anna West, Sleep2perform which subsequently has led to the beginning of a recent pilot project between AC Milan and Anna, aiming to test how an improved sleep might benefit the whole club.

“In 2020 during Covid-19 and lockdown I started looking into methods to make positive changes to my lifestyle. I am always searching for ways to improve myself as a leader and was curious to know how I could do more to ensure a healthy lifestyle. I was aware of the benefits of a healthy diet, meditation and the importance of exercise, but I had never given my sleep a lot of thought.

Sleep is a very fundamental and natural thing, and like most of us I know how valuable a good sleep is, but with a career, work related stress and family life, it can be difficult to give it enough attention. As soon as you do not sleep well and your mind starts spinning about it, it becomes a vicious cycle. At that time, my sleep was definitely not good.

So I contacted Anna and began to work with her on analyzing and understanding my sleep pattern and habits. She helped me understand how important it was to structure my sleep and gave me meaningful tips and simple tools to work with.”
